Fran sang and played trumpet in Metanoia.
She's the first band member to quit her day job to become a full-time professional musician. Ok, she really quit to become a full-time mommy. Either way, she's made the big time in her own mind and is happy to have given up her former life of motorcycles, prosecuting and publishing for parenthood, poopie diapers and patty-cake.
In addition to singing in Metanoia, these days you can find Fran hanging out in downtown bookstores, attending SCBWI conferences (that's the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators for all you adults out there!), and having a go at her own version of the Great American Novel.
